Mr & Mrs. Dispain Master Bathroom
Our clients enlisted a designer they had a relationship with on this master bathroom project. The layout stayed essentially the same but with the removal of the tub entirely. The cabinets are a riff cut white oak with custom inlay panel doors. We chose a linen with 5 drawers and to mirror doors (this piece could be used anywhere in the house). We reframed the pony wall for the shower and tiled the shower to the ceiling with 12×24 glossy tile. The shower has a linier style shower drain and the shower curb has an outside waterfall stone edge. We closed in one entrance to the closet and installed a pocket door at the other. We also installed a pocket door for the water closet (toilet room). We installed power at the toilet for the bidet toilet seat. We skimmed all the walls and ceiling and applied a Monterey drag texture to all the walls and ceilings. The floors were finished with a 24×30 stone look porcelain tile. We mounted the vanity light in the mirror and installed a single pendant light fixture over the makeup area. The ventilation was also updated in the main bath area and the water closet. This project took 8 weeks to complete.
