The Westlake bathroom remodeling project has been completed. The tile used for this project is a carrara marble as well as the countertops. The plumbing fixtures for this master bathroom remodel are all Delta products.
This master bath renovation did have it’s share of plumbing challenges. The water closet (toilet room) walls all came down to provide a more open feel to the entire bathroom. When we removed the walls we did find plumbing vent lines that had to be relocated. We built a pony wall separating the shower from the toilet area which provided privacy for the toilet area. We converted the old bathtub to a large spa like shower with a frameless glass enclosure. There were two vanities in the bathroom separated by the old shower one vanity on the left and one to the right of the old corner shower. We used the old shower drain and water lines for the new 8′ double bathroom vanity. The free standing bathtub plumbing was pulled from the old vanity on the left side. This master bathroom project went great in spite of all the plumbing that needed to be relocated. Most bathroom renovations don’t require moving all the plumbing fixtures but in this case it was worth it. The end result of this master bath turned out fantastic with all marble tile, countertops, and we even used 3cm marble for the shower curb, window sill, pony wall top, corner shower bench, and corner shelves in the shower.
