Austin kitchen renovation part 2

Checking in with how thinks are going on our latest kitchen remodel. This particular kitchen renovation is in Austin, TX as well as most all of our bathroom remodeling projects.

So now that everything has been roughed in on our kitchen project it was time for paint. Our customer choose a Valspar paint color which was a nice compliment to here tile selection. We have now completed the bulk of all the painting aside from may need to be touched up at the end of the project. Once we got to the floor tile we noticed some problems with the foundation. There were several humps and dips in the kitchen, pantry, and dining room floors. We solved the problems with the floor by using a custom product called Level Quick. This was a fairly easy process and took about 4 hours and 18 bags of material. Now that our floor/foundation problems had been solved it was now time for floor tile. We are using a 13″x 13″ porcelain tile with a offset pattern layout. The floor tile is about half way done and it is going to look great. The most important process in any remodeling or renovation project is the preparation. Check back soon for more progress reports on how this kitchen renovation turns out.
